Club Events 2024

Club 10’s & Club Championship (Weekly May – August)

Our Club 10’s, which are run weekly on Monday evenings between May and August are a great way to get started with racing in a friendly and encouraging environment. They are also a really good way to get to know people in the club and volunteer!

Entry is £5 (or £3 for Manchester Wheelers & Stockport Clarion members). You don’t have to belong to a club but under 18s will need a guardian with them to sign a consent form.

Sign-on is usually open from 6pm and will close at 6:45pm. Rider no: 1 is set off at 7:01pm, with riders setting off in number order at 1 min intervals.

First claim members are eligible for the Club Championship which consists of the Club 10s, plus a nominated Open 25 mile time trial, an Open 50 and a hill climb as below. Points are awarded for positions in each event, with your best 8 events counting. The Championship is usually closely fought right down to the final event!

*** PLEASE NOTE: *** It is strictly compulsory for all riders to have a working rear light attached to their machine in all open and club CTT events. That includes our Club 10s. See note 24 here for more information https://www.cyclingtimetrials.org.uk/documents/index/guidance
