Club 10’s & Club Championship

Weekly April – August

A club 10 is a 10 mile time trial organized by a local cycling club. They are a great way to get started with racing in a friendly and encouraging environment, no matter what your ability. They are also a really good way to get to know people in the club and also give back to the club and cycling community by volunteering at a couple of events! These events can only run due to people volunteering their time to help out with marshalling and organizing.

The club championship is our season long competition, consisting of the following events: all events in the club 10 series, a nominated open 25 mile TT, a nominated open 50 mile TT and our club hill climb. Points are earned throughout the season for each event, with your best 8 events counting towards your final total. The winner is awarded the club championship trophy at the annual awards giving.

2024 UPDATE: Due to declining numbers at our long running Monday night club 10 series in the recent years following Covid, organized alongside Stockport Clarion, we have decided to not run the series this year and instead will be joining with the Macclesfield Wheelers / Westmead Team 88 Wednesday night series, and will be using these events as the basis of the club championship.
