Rider of the month for August goes to Gavin McCloskey-Lambert, for the frankly insane effort of completing London-Edinburgh-London, one of the most infamous endurance events at 1,441 KM, in an eye-watering time of 96 hours! That includes a stretch of riding 27 hours straight with no sleep and in brutally cold and windy conditions too. Hard. As. Nails.

Jason has already spotted this but just to make you aware that there is a talk on strength and conditioning this Thursday at Rapha by a Peter Gascoine, here's the gist:
Peter Gascoigne, a coach for the Great Britain Cycling Team, has prepared an introduction to how strength and conditioning can help lesser mortals in their everyday cycling lives too.
The evening will look at the Why, How and What behind Strength and Conditioning (S&C) for cyclists and how it can help the competitive or non-competitive rider with any challenge or goal they have next season.
The talk is completely free, but please RSVP via the ticket link.
