: Tameside Race League - Volunteers.

Hi there,
So new forum means a new post with all the info for people who are willing to come along and help out at the Tameside race league - the Wheelers have responsibility for 5 events over the course of the summer (we've already done one) and we need around 6 people each time to come along and be useful so that the races can run safely.

Don't worry if you've never helped before none of the jobs are too complicated and there is usually someone else around who has done it before. It's a great way to meet other members and have a catch up. The racing is often great (and crashes happen ;) ) so if you are thinking about having a go at the racing come along and see how it works.

People need to arrive at the circuit to help around 5:45-6pm as racing starts at 6:15 for the titchy people.

Our dates for this season are:

2nd May
23rd May
27th June
25th July

Please let me know if you can help and which dates you are available.

Thanks
Ruth

Hi Martin if you can be there by 5:45 and help out with all the kids races and the start of the first adults race then it's no problem if you want to head off early.
😊

I'm sorry I can't make is as I can't drive at the moment and Andy is racing elsewhere :(

We could do with another 2-4 helpers please.

Right people there's been a slightly hiccup with a few people now not being able to make it this evening - due to unforeseen problems.
If anyone can step in then please, please shout up and get involved.

Thank you

Right it's getting around to that time again - a week on Tuesday that's the 27th June it's our turn once again.
Only 1 more after this - season goes quickly!

So who's in??

I think Karl is, but what about anyone else?

Let me know 😊

So I've had a couple more people get in touch but that still leaves us well below the number of people required which is 6 at least - please let's have a show of hands!!
Who can help out. It might even still be gloriously sunny!

Look forward to hearing from you Wheelers!

Right next week - Tuesday - it's our final responsibility of the year.

Who can help out?
I'm 1 week after back surgery so I won't be there so would be great to hear of some new faces helping out.

Please shout up.
