Hello everybody!

Mick Style here, organiser of the Wheelers Cross Races over the past ten years. We have the Wheelers Cyclo-cross races coming up on Sunday 14th October at Heaton Park in Manchester and it would be great to get a bunch of Wheelers out to help as usual with the organisation. Duties will include course set-up, sign-on duties, judging and marshalling. In the first instance, could you post up on here if you can help out on the day. We get up to 500 racers across all categories on the day and we need c. 25 helpers in all including volunteers from the North West CX League, so any help would be gratefully received. It's a good social day out and fun watching the racing. Thanks in advance to the usual reliable helpers and anyone else, be great to hear from you! More details to follow in due course, but in the meantime, please post away!

Cheers, Mick

Hi Mark, Alan and Dan - hope you're still able to help out on Sunday 15th October?
Could i ask you guys to meet me at the sign-on which is in the cafe by the boating lake at 9am please? I can then ask you three to rotate on car parking and judging duties if that's OK?
Many thanks,
Mick

Hello everybody,
I now have a confirmed date for the Wheelers cyclocross race of Sunday 15th October 2017 and I'd love it if I can get a good team of Wheelers to volunteer on the day for various duties including signing on, car park management, judging, marshalling and setting up/taking down the course.
Please could you post up here or drop me a PM if you can help out?
For the regulars, you'll know the score, for newer faces to cross it's a good day out watching racing and some good chat too. There's a cafe, toilets and coffee van on site.
Cross continues to get more popular each year - the Vets race last year had over 190 starters! So you can see we need a big team to run 6 races during the day.
I'll post up more details on race timings but be great if you let me know if you can help?
Thanks guys, Mick Style
