Hi there,
So new forum means a new post with all the info for people who are willing to come along and help out at the Tameside race league - the Wheelers have responsibility for 5 events over the course of the summer (we've already done one) and we need around 6 people each time to come along and be useful so that the races can run safely.

Don't worry if you've never helped before none of the jobs are too complicated and there is usually someone else around who has done it before. It's a great way to meet other members and have a catch up. The racing is often great (and crashes happen ) so if you are thinking about having a go at the racing come along and see how it works.

People need to arrive at the circuit to help around 5:45-6pm as racing starts at 6:15 for the titchy people.

Our dates for this season are:

2nd May
23rd May
27th June
25th July

Please let me know if you can help and which dates you are available.

Week Ending 16th April 2017

Monday: ACT - Jerry Cross making a rare monday night appearance and hoovering up some points along with Karl Mclelland


Tuesday: the first women's race of the season at Tameside and not a single (first claim) Manchester Wheeler?! And yet there was still a decent size field - this is a sign of the growth - brilliant. But please can people go next month 

Wednesday: TT - Macc Wheelers 10 - Mark Pickles 2nd (22:40)

Friday: TT - Buxton Mountain TT
Seniors: Dan Robinson 44th (2.04:25)

Vets/Women:
Chris Fox 36th (1.10:32)
Derrick Watson 61st (1.20:40)
Holly Carter 62nd (1.22:18)

Andy Ashurst DNF 

Saturday: ??

Hmmm seems like I must be missing things here? Anyone been riding the TLI or LVRC races tat I don't know about?
